We currently have an opportunity for Full Time Security Guard. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, our front of house security staff are the face of Downer and play a pivotal role in delivering the service commitment we have made to our clients. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, achieve highest level of safety, quality of work and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service.
What You'll Do (key responsibilities)
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
* Facilitate the operation of security and access systems
* Maintain surveillance of the site, including monitoring all personnel while on site
* Monitor, manage, control and record all communications across the site
* Support Helpdesk Service as required
* Support and assist the Security Supervisor, as required
What You'll Bring (experience required)
* Must be an Australian Citizen
* Current Defence Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain
* NSW or ACT Security Licence (or ability to acquire before commencement)
* A Certificate II in Security Operations (or ability to acquire before commencement)
* Experience in Security industries preferred
* A current NSW or ACT drivers' licence
* The ability to work a rotating roster
