Are you passionate about creating user-centred digital experiences? Do you have a strong background in User Experience (UX) research and design, as well as User Interface (UI) design? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the University of Newcastle as a UX Designer.
Responsibilities
* Designing and enhancing the overall user experience across the University of Newcastle.
* Conducting workshops with internal stakeholders and product users to gather user requirements and inform the design process.
* Performing qualitative and quantitative UX research, utilising methods such as user interviews, user studies, questionnaires, focus groups, and web analytics analysis.
* Translating customer and business insights into memorable digital experiences, solving complex design problems.
* Leading the development and continual evolution of our Design Language System.
* Creatively interpreting UX research results into wireframes, mock‐ups, journeys maps, interactive prototypes, and information architectures.
* Testing, iterating, and gathering feedback on UX/UI designs.
* Collaborating on A/B tests to improve user experience.
This Continuing position is full time at a HEW 7 Higher Education Level and will be based at Callaghan Campus.
