This Sydney Design and Architecture practice are well known for their hands-on approach and passion for helping their clients realise their aspirations for the built environment. The practice is looking for an autonomous Revit proficient Lead Interior Designer who has strong technical skills and an ambitious mindset to take support the growth of their interiors department. You will have experience across a diverse range of sectors- from hospitality and retail to education and community projects- and be particularly involved with both high-end design and technical detailing.
Key responsibilities
* Lead the interiors stream across a diverse portfolio, including aged care, schools, and community centres
* Undertake design projects from concept through to completion, staying "on the tools"
* Production of working drawings, detailing, and delivery of comprehensive drawing packages
* Work closely with external consultants and contractors to ensure design intent is met
* Manage both high-end aesthetic projects and budget-conscious community works with equal care
Skills and experience
* Interior Design or Architectural qualifications
* Proven experience in hospitality, retail, or public works sectors
* Experience leading projects and a desire for the autonomy to eventually grow a team
* Strong ability to jump between high-end finishes and practical, functional design
