The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the creditors ledger for pharmacies supported by PBA's financial services. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and effective communication with suppliers and store managers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for efficiency in financial operations.
What you will do
Manage invoice flow from stores through PBA's digital invoice management platform (DAISY) and into Microsoft Business Central
Reconcile invoices against supplier statements to ensure accuracy
Investigate and resolve discrepancies with store managers and suppliers
Process timely EFT payments to creditors, maximising settlement discounts and minimising late payments (cashflow permitting)
Monitor and manage a shared email inbox for accounts payable correspondence (in collaboration with other A/P team members)
What we are looking for
Minimum 2 years of prior accounts payable experience
Strong computer skills and familiarity with accounting systems
Excellent time management and organisational skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
