Assistant Parts Manager

Rockingham Nissan & Mahindra is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Parts Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of our busy Parts Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven parts professional looking to take the next step in their career within a high‑performing, multi‑franchise dealership.
About the Role
Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will play a key role in supporting department operations, team leadership, inventory control, and customer service across both Nissan and Mahindra brands.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the daily management of the Parts Department
* Support and supervise parts staff to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery
* Interpret parts and provide technical advice to internal and external customers
* Manage inventory control, stock ordering, receipting, and stock takes
* Ensure accurate processing of invoices, credits, and warranty parts
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments (Service & Sales)
* Ensure compliance with dealership systems, processes, and manufacturer standards
* Step into the Parts Manager role during periods of leave as required
About You
* Previous experience in an automotive Parts role (Assistant Parts Manager or Senior Parts Interpreter preferred)
* Strong knowledge of automotive parts and dealership operations
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
* Confident communicator with a customer‑focused approach
* Ability to lead, support, and motivate a team
* Strong computer skills and experience with dealership management systems
* Current Australian driver’s licence
