TLH Recruitment is proudly representing a market leader in the fresh food industry based in Homebush, seeking experienced and enthusiastic Stock Controllers to join their team
This opportunity is casual ongoing with full-time hours available across AM and PM shifts.
* Dayshift - 7am - 3pm
* Afternoon shift - 3pm - 11pm
MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH START AND FINISH TIMES TO MEET OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
*Responsibilities:*
* Checking and ordering stock for the vegetable preparation area
* Maintain accurate stock levels to meet operational and customer needs
* Conduct routine cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
* Maintain excellent standards or recording and filing all reports, stock adjustments, cycle count sheets, inventory
* Promote a safe, tidy and compliant work environment, including HACCP and WHS standards
* Working in a cold environment with temperatures between 0 and 5 degrees celsius
**Rates:
AM shift - $32.31
PM shift - $37.16**
ONGOING WORK AVAILABLE MONDAY TO SATURDAY
Requirements:
* Proven experience in stock control
* Experience in food production / manufacturing highly regarded
* Good knowledge of GMP / HACCP and WHS
* Comfortable working and standing in a cold environment for long periods
* Good computer skills with experience with WMS systems and data entry
* High attention to detail and problem solving abilities
* Able to work in a fast paced, chilled environment (0-5 degrees)
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
