About the Company and Role
Our client is an established Australian funds management and wealth management firm specialising in investment products across equities, fixed income, and alternatives. In this senior leadership role, you will own the end-to-end marketing and communications function, developing integrated strategies that enhance brand positioning, support product launches, and strengthen engagement with both retail and institutional clients. You will play a pivotal role in translating complex investment concepts into compelling client-friendly messaging while ensuring all activities meet strict regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute integrated marketing and digital communication strategies aligned to business objectives;
* Lead social media strategy, content creation, and campaigns to build brand awareness and generate quality leads;
* Support product launches and produce clear fact sheets, fund updates, and thought leadership content;
* Oversee website management, SEO, email marketing, and digital analytics to optimise performance and ROI;
* Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all internal and external channels;
* Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements including ASIC guidelines.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
* Degree qualified in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline;
* 10+ years' experience in marketing and communications, ideally within funds management or wealth management;
* Strong understanding of investment products including equities and fixed income;
* Proven track record managing social media strategy and execution for a financial services brand;
* Demonstrated success in optimising PPC campaigns and digital advertising;
* Highly skilled at translating complex financial and investment concepts into accessible language;
* Proficiency with WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and major social platforms;
* Experience using marketing automation tools and digital analytics to drive measurable ROI;
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels;
* Strong ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and deliver at pace in a sole contributor capacity.
