HVAC Knowledge Flexible Location and Working Client Relationships and Account Management
Our client is a global leader who are providing key industries with world class products and leading solutions across the Industrial, HVAC, Building & Construction industry. They provide the highest quality products and processes to new and existing customers in the Building, Construction, and Infrastructure industry. Hudson are supporting our client in heading into an exciting local growth phase capitalising on the global businesses and manufacturing growth. This role seeks a driven, entrepreneurial leader in setting up new business steams, processes and opportunities and managing existing key clients and accounts across the Australian market with an NSW influence.
This role will be responsible for the growth of existing business together with expansion into new and existing clients across building products. You will be a hands-on people person and business manager with proven experience in leading a business and sales growth within a successful business in Heavy Industry.
Main Responsibilities
- The role will have a 50/50 split between Account Management (retention of key accounts) and Business Development that will require strategy development to increase market share.
- To devise and implement development plans for the successful future growth of our NSW business, and to provide technical sales support for the full range of building products
- Development of annual sales and marketing plans together with forecasts for regions, for existing and new clients.
- To negotiate both the technical and commercial details of the proposals and close the sale on all enquiries within acceptable company limits, maximising margins wherever possible.
- Maintaining and building strong, long-lasting client relationships locally and internationally.
- Managing the entire sales pipeline including identifying and connecting with potential new clients, preparing sales collateral, reviewing agreements, forecasting sales and systems setup.
- Working with the sales, engineering, operations, manufacturing functions and teams across the business nationally.
Skills & Experience
- Working experience in and across Infrastructure, Engineering, Construction and Building industry in a leadership or as an account or business manager
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of an organisation, internally and externally.
- Proven ability to articulate distinct advantages of products in the commercial, industrial, residential construction industry are essential for this role.
- Ability to prepare reports and be proficient at analysing data, building reporting, and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
A strong knowledge and working experience in Sales, Products, Engineering or degree qualifications in sales are highly desirable.
