About The Role
This position is classified as TO2 progression as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the TO2 classification, with eligibility for progression to TO3 upon meeting specific criteria. The salary rate reflects the TO2 to TO3 classification range.
In this role, you will assist teachers and students with various tasks, including supporting sports events, school trips, managing teaching materials and equipment, maintaining accurate student records, and assisting with roll call. The role requires effective teamwork, clear communication, and sensitivity to students with higher needs.
Multiple temporary part-time Teacher Aide positions are available across our Primary and Secondary Campuses, detailed as follows:
Position 1: 27 hours/week at Primary Campus, from 22 April 2025 to 12 December 2025, Monday to Friday.
Position 2: 12 hours/week at SWD Secondary Campus, from 22 April 2025 to 12 December 2025, Mondays and Fridays.
Position 3: 18 hours/week at SWD Secondary Campus, from 22 April 2025 to 11 July 2025 (possible extension), Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays.
Position 4: 6 hours/week at SWD Secondary Campus, from 22 April 2025 to 11 July 2025, Tuesdays.
Position 5: 6 hours/week at Secondary Campus, from 22 April 2025 to 12 December 2025, Wednesdays.
Position 6: 30 hours/week as a Local Relieving Teacher Aide covering short-term absences, across Primary, Secondary, and SWD sectors, from 22 April 2025 to 12 December 2025, Monday to Friday.
Position 7: 24 hours/week as a Local Relieving Teacher Aide, from 22 April 2025 to 12 December 2025, Tuesdays to Fridays.
