Position – Warehouse & Logistics Manager
Location – Eastern Creek, NSW
AUD $85,000 – 95,000 per year
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead our cross-functional team of warehouse and logistics professionals in achieving their highest potential. As part of the growing demand for A-SAFE’s products, you will play a key role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse and distribution facilities in Australia.
The Opportunity
This full-time position is based in our Eastern Creek Warehouse and involves managing a small team of warehouse team members in all aspects of our warehousing, inventory, and logistics functions.
In this role, you will:
1. Manage the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring optimal productivity, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols
2. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of our products, maintaining tight control of inventory levels
3. Coordinate the planning and execution of logistics activities, including the scheduling and routing of deliveries
4. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
5. Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of warehouse and logistics personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Substantial experience (5+ years) in a warehouse and/or logistics management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries
2. Strong understanding of inventory management principles, warehouse operations, and logistics planning
3. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
4. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on developing talent and driving continuous improvement
5. Proficient in the use of NetSuite, RF scanning software, and other relevant technologies
