THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a hands‐on Mechanical Assembler / Fitter to join our Manufacturing team. This is a full‐time permanent workshop‐based role offering long‐term stability, ongoing training, and the opportunity to work on unique projects from start to finish.
Working within a supportive team environment, you will assist in the assembly and fit‐out of containerised water treatment systems including pumps, filters, tanks, pipework and associated equipment.
This role would suit someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys practical, hands‐on work and takes pride in quality workmanship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assemble and fit out water treatment systems and associated equipment
* Install pumps, filters, tanks, brackets and associated pipework
* Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics
* Conduct pressure testing and quality checks
* Work collaboratively with Electrical Technicians, the wider Manufacturing team, internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop
* Assist with site installations and commissioning when required
ABOUT YOU
* Mechanical fitting, plumbing or similar trade experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Good problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
* Current Driver's Licence
HIGHLY REGARDED
* Poly welding experience
* Experience in manufacturing, assembly or water treatment industries
