About the role

In this role, you will coordinate staff in the delivery of day-to-day operations within our Leisure Services unit in a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment. You will be responsible for planning and implementing project-based tasks related to Reception, Sales, and Customer Service activities and programs.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading the development, coordination, and evaluation of Reception, Sales, and Customer Service activities.
* Assisting in the strategic development of processes and procedures.
* Overseeing the centre's day-to-day operations in consultation with other Leisure Coordinators.
* Ensuring compliance with all Council policies and procedures.
* Performing additional duties as required.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* A tertiary qualification in recreation service delivery or several years of experience in a related field.
* A Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
* A Pool Lifeguard Award.
* A Current Working with Children's Check.
* Proven experience in leadership and team coordination.
* Strong planning, implementation, and evaluation skills for innovative procedures.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Web tools).
* Experience in program development and delivery.
* Familiarity with other software applications.
* An Austswim Certificate (advantageous).
