**The Role**
This role is a leader of leader's roles within the ICT Services Branch, with line management responsibilities for 4 ICT Directors. Domain knowledge and senior management experience will be crucial to this role.
**Key duties**:
- Create, articulate, and lead the strategic direction for ICT Service Operations Section of the ICT Services Branch.
- Provide oversight and senior leadership for the NDIA ICT Service Desk, ICT Service Management, ICT Monitoring and Reporting and ICT Security services.
- Effectively manage competing priorities, delivering high value outcomes in accordance with the strategic priorities of the Office of the CIO
- Create increased value in operational outcomes through better efficiency or measurable improvement
- Executive communication skills, including writing papers to the Executive Leadership Team or NDIA Board, creating and delivering key presentations, and oversight of all staff facing communications.
- Foster a strong positive culture, attracting quality talent to the ICT Services Branch.
**Experience Required**
- Demonstrated minimum 8 years' experience leading teams (minimum of 3 years at the Director level) to deliver ICT services through ICT management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Demonstrate an ability to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to foster strong positive cultures
- Demonstrated experience and technical domain knowledge across cloud platforms, service management and ICT Operations.
- Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agencies.
- Security clearance at the Negative Vetting 1 level, or the ability to obtain
- Tertiary qualifications in an ICT related discipline, or business management.
- Certifications in ITIL, version 3 or later.
