Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Procurement Officer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing to contract management, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies and local regulations.Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiencySource and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationshipsAnalyze market trends, pricing, and economic factors to forecast and plan future purchasesPrepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their procurement needsMonitor and track order status, delivery schedules, and inventory levelsEnsure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and international trade lawsMaintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentationConduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and implement improvement measuresIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain managementProficiency in procurement software and ERP systemsStrong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationshipsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with data analysisProven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in international sourcing and vendor managementKnowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management principles, and UAE business regulationsProfessional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferredAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environmentFamiliarity with contract management and cost analysis techniques
