Job Overview
This is an experienced role for a Project Manager to oversee and execute complex construction projects from inception to completion.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resources are available and feasible timelines are set.
* Budgeting and cost management are crucial to keeping the project within financial constraints.
* Contract administration includes negotiation and oversight of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Quality control checks are performed to deliver projects that meet all agreed specifications.
* Leading and motivating a multidisciplinary project team and resolving conflicts is essential.
* Ensuring all legal, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly observed is mandatory.
* Regular project status reports are made to executives and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
* The candidate must be a US or Australian citizen.
* Must possess a US TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
* A minimum of five years of experience as a project manager is required.
* Project management skills such as time management, resource allocation, and project scheduling are necessary.
* Preferred Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
This position is located at a 4,400-acre facility in Alice Springs with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. The successful candidate will work onsite full-time.
