The Opportunity:
After a good first year or two in sales admin, have you begun to take a real curiosity in your customers, their needs and would like to spend more time interacting with them?
Would you eventually like to move into an Account Manager role after learning from a highly experienced sales leader in the grocery (Woolworths / Coles) channel?
You'll bring all your support and admin experience and build on that by developing key relationships with customer counterparts in packaging, NPD, promotions and quality. You'll be responsible for data accuracy in customer portals, communicating queries to internal departments (Procurement, QA, packaging, NPD, Production, Sales) and resolving.
As you grow more confident, learn and perform well in the role, you'll be given more senior duties to challenge you and become the main contact for Woolworths.
The Company:
A food manufacturer I've worked with since 2020 and watched grow consistently at a steady pace. They are already planning for future expansion and most roles I've hired have been to support this strategy.
They don't lose people often. Many of their staff have long tenure and either enjoy the family feel and settle or grow into bigger roles as they become available. It's a place where transparency and speed are obvious in their decision making.
This isn't a top heavy corporate brand house but an agile, fast-paced $100m+ family business going places.
About Your Manager:
Someone with a superb track record and standing in the FMCG and Food industry. He's consistently delivered growth and developed teams throughout his career. One of the key reasons he was hired 5 years ago was he has a long-term vision and helps support and develop those around him.
Working directly with him, you'll benefit from learning with someone who knows their trade and the customer inside and out.
What we Need from You:
* Attitude - curious, inquisitive, asks questions and wants to solve problems.
* Comfortable with a mix of day to day admin as well as customer interactions.
* An all round team player - helping other departments when deadlines loom is the embedded in the culture of the company.
* Excel skills - exporting and managing data, creating basic reports and analysing customer data.
* At least a year in a customer admin support role with all the characteristics above.
**The role is full time on site (no hybrid at all) and most typically start between am.
