As a Workday Engagement Manager, you will be a key leader, project manager, and mentor who drives client, company, and team success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Become an expert in Workday's Implementation Methodology and apply it to all engagements.
* Demonstrate competency in the Workday product suite - HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials.
* Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed.
* Provide guidance and mentoring to Principal Consultants working on their implementations.
* Work with the client project manager to identify and resolve issues that impact project scope and timeframes.
* Advise clients and teams by contributing to and providing active support in developing solutions.
* Mentor project team members by providing feedback and supporting their development for engaging with clients and project delivery.
* Deliver projects within budget outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
* Collaborate with Workday Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with agreed checkpoints.
* Assist in transitioning clients from professional services to product support.
* Ensure clients can serve as references upon completing their implementation.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Information Systems, or related field.
* Previous Workday experience strongly preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of Internet technology and Enterprise Resource Planning.
* A practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll.
* PMP certification a plus.
