An exciting opportunity exists for a Lead Practitioner (Health Justice - Lived Expertise) to provide leadership within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with complex mental health and wellbeing needs. This role is ideal for professionals with qualifications in Mental Health, Peer Work, Community Services, or a related field, who bring lived/living experience and are passionate about driving recovery oriented, person centred care. You will lead peer practice development, support the peer workforce, and contribute to meaningful system transformation. You will play a key leadership role in guiding practice, and contributing to supervision and reflective practice across the team. The role also involves active participation in service development and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen outcomes for individuals and the broader service. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership in lived experience (peer) practice and health justice approaches Support and develop the peer workforce through coaching, mentoring, and supervision Service Delivery & Clinical Support Provide direct support to individuals with complex mental health, AOD, and legal needs Contribute to care coordination, case reviews, and multidisciplinary service planning Service Development & Improvement Contribute to service design, evaluation, and system development Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes About You Lived/living experience of mental health challenges and recovery, with the ability to apply this professionally Qualification in Mental Health, Peer Work, Community Services, or related field (minimum Certificate IV or equivalent experience) Experience in mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), justice, or community services Demonstrated capability in coaching, mentoring, and supervision Strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills NDIS experience (highly regarded) Valid Working with Children Check Current driver's licence Full working authorisation in Australia Benefits Senior opportunity within a supportive team Strong multidisciplinary environment Opportunity to lead service development Collaborative and values driven workplace Excellent salary package Meaningful work supporting complex client needs This is a strong opportunity for an experienced peer practitioner looking to contribute at a more senior level within a supportive and collaborative environment.
