We are seeking female Disability Support Workers to join the team supporting a 16-year-old girl living in Taree with her mother and sister. Our client sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in early childhood and lives with low vision, Autism, and ADHD. Despite these challenges, she is an independent, bright, and resilient young person who enjoys doing things for herself. She has a love for animals – especially her cat and fish – and thrives on having supportive people around her. What the role involves: Personal care assistance Support with accessing the community (outings, appointments, activities) Helping around the house with daily tasks Encouragement, companionship, and fostering independence About you: Female support worker (as per client request) Kind, patient, and supportive in nature Comfortable working with young people with autism, ADHD, or low vision Pet friendly (must be okay with cats and fish!) Reliable and flexible, with a genuine passion for helping others Mandatory Requirements Current First Aid & CPR NDIS Worker Screening Check VIC Working With Children Check (Employee) Valid driver's licence and comprehensive car insurance Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety and You online module Pay Rates SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
