We are currently hiring an **Senior** ****Insur**ance Advisor** based in our **Hillside Service Location!
***While BCAA's preference and first consideration will be given to Senior Insurance Advisor qualified candidates, BCAA welcomes applications from Insurance Advisor candidates that meet the minimum qualifications (including sales of Home Insurance including at least 6 months of General Insurance experience) and have an interest in progressing their career to the Senior Insurance Advisor role.

You exercise good judgment and make decisions based on risks, costs, and benefits.
At least 1 to 2 consecutive years' experience ofgeneral insurance experience, including one year experience selling homeowners insurance.
Comfortable using technology, including basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) **Bonus qualifications!
** CAIB certification, experience using ICBC systems, and ability to speak other languages aside from English.
Achieve sales and productivity goals while upholding BCAA andAAA/CAAMember experiencegoals and underwriting guidelines.
Increase your industry knowledge and expertise towards becoming a team lead or people leader.
You'll participate in BCAA's training courses, maintain annual licensing requirements and keep up to date with the latest processes, products and service offerings in the insurance industry in a supportive setting.
**Internal Applicants:** Please note that the Senior Insurance Advisor role is a Grade 7 and the Insurance Advisor role is a Grade 6 and the internal posting will close on September 18, 2025.The salary range for this position is $45,406.32 to $56,757.84, if you hold a **Level 1 General Insurance License.
** If you hold a **Level 2 General Insurance License,** the salary range for this position is $49,954.92 to $62,443.68 and is determined viajob-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity.In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 21.5%.
