About Your New Job
Assistants in Nursing (AIN's) to work across multiple wards. Provide support through supernumerary shifts and receive ongoing support from EN's, RN's and the Nurse Unit Manager. You will have the opportunity to rotate across departments or develop expertise within a specialty area aligned with your passion.
Where You'll Be Working
Principal referral hospital for the northern sector of Hunter New England Local Health District, servicing a population of over 180,000. Services include emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, critical care, mental health, rehabilitation and outpatient care.

Requirements
* Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or enrollment in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester/trimester of second year), or enrollment in TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing (completion of identified foundational units in practice AND 120 hours of clinical placement).
* Eligibility for permanent employment requires Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or New Zealand citizenship with a current passport. Temporary visa holders may be considered only if no suitable local candidate is identified and subject to visa conditions.
