The Role:
A leading provider of managed IT Services & Consulting for small to mid-sized businesses is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network/Systems Engineer to join their team on the NSW Central Coast (Gosford). This role blends technical leadership with client-focused consulting, designing and supporting secure, scalable infrastructure for a varied SMB client base.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and deployment of LAN/WAN/WLAN networks.
* Configure and maintain servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and cloud platforms.
* Implement cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery strategies.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues (Tier 3).
* Automate workflows and optimise system performance.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
* Work with consulting and sales teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Skills and Experience:
* Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years in network and systems engineering, ideally within an MSP.
* Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, VMware, and Hyper-V.
* Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python).
* Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and frameworks.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
* Certifications such as CCNP, Azure Administrator, or Fortinet NSE are valued.
