About the opportunity
As a Practice Manager you'll be benefiting from an experienced practice team, exceptional development and opportunities to take you as far as you want to go; and that's just to mention a few. Medical experience is obviously a bonus, but this role is also a great career step for Store Managers in retail and any other people management roles that fit the criteria below:
* Coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
* Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
* Maintain sterilisation, infection control standards and stock control
* Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
* General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
* Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
* Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff
You'll be:
* Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
* Previous primary care medical experience desirable
* Prior business and people management experience essential
* Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
* Understanding how to generate income and control costs
* Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
* Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including doctors, patients, and your practice team
* Experienced in comprehending and managing the P&L for the practice
