Job Summary
This is a hands-on, transactional accounting role that offers scope across various duties. You will play a key role as part of a collaborative finance team, working closely with the Finance Business Partner to deliver timely and accurate financial services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing payroll and accounts payable prior to payment runs. They will be able to assist in the preparation of monthly reports and annual statutory accounts, as well as undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
This is a varied position that requires a proactive approach to improving financial controls, supporting audits, and enhancing processes. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator, comfortable building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with a minimum of one year in a hands-on, transactional accounting role. You will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent organisational and communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine drive to improve processes and collaborate with others.
Essential Criteria
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Accounting or Business (or currently working towards one), and a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
