* Full time, 35 hours per week
* Temporary up to 30 June 2028
* Primary Work Location: Wollongong
* Clerk Grade 9/10 – Salary from $129,464 up to $142,665 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading

About the Role
Bridge the gap between government support and local ambition! As the Economic Development Manager, you will identify high-growth projects, share market insights, and build the networks needed to boost jobs and investment. This is your opportunity to showcase your strategic thinking and passion for seeing regional businesses thrive in a fast-paced environment.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

* Tertiary degree in business/economics or equivalent industry experience.
* Strong grasp of business development and regional economic growth drivers.
* Proven ability to build networks with government and business stakeholders.
* Experience delivering market insights and high-quality strategic briefings.
* Valid NSW Driver Licence and a willingness to travel across the region.
