About the role As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be an enthusiastic brand ambassador and an experienced sales professional focused on helping our customers to create their ideal home, based on our unique product offer and exceptional value for which Early Settler is known. Your key responsibilities will include: Assisting the Store Manager in leading and motivating the team. Engaging with our customers, assisting them to find that perfect piece! Actively contributing to the sales performance of the store. Embracing and maintaining our positive, passionate and energetic culture. In addition, you will contribute to the store presentation through visual merchandising, stock replenishment and assisting with unloading and unpacking stock as it regularly arrives. You will be required to work on weekends as part of a rotating roster. About you Leading applicants will have: Experience in a leadership role, preferably in the furniture or homewares industry; Exceptional customer service and interaction, creating a unique and rewarding experience for customers; Proven experience and ability in coaching and developing teams to deliver sales success and real customer service to be proud of; The physical capability of handling our products and working in a fast-pace sales environment.
