About the Role
You will play a crucial part in delivering a range of building and infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. You'll be responsible for overseeing construction activities, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of project delivery, from planning and procurement to execution and handover, ensuring quality outcomes
* Collaborate with the project team to achieve project milestones and client satisfaction
* Manage project budgets, track progress and ensure resources are allocated efficiently
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, reduce costs and increase efficiency
Requirements:
* Proven experience in project management within the building and construction sector
* Strong understanding of Australian building codes, WHS regulations and industry standards
* Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Relevant qualifications such as trade background, construction management or engineering
* Ability to obtain defence clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
