Your Experience
We are currently looking for a qualified health care professional with:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). At least one full year of nursing experience.
Our Role
Our Registered Nurses (RNs) perform reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
They work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW and Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.
Our Location
Mid North Coast Correctional Centre is a maximum-, medium- and minimum- security centre for males and females. It is located at Aldavilla, 455km north of Sydney and 14 km west of Kempsey.
You will be required to work shifts across the sectors of Mid North Coast Correctional Centre, including Sector 1 and Sector 4.
