Darwin Private Hospital is a 122 patient‑bed facility, co‑located with Royal Darwin Hospital in Darwin's northern suburbs and provides the high‑quality patient‑centred healthcare.
As the only private health provider in the Northern Territory, Darwin Private Hospital boasts an excellent range of medical and surgical services including orthopaedics, paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, urology, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, ENT, oncology and rehabilitation.

What’s Included in the Graduate Program?
Our 12‑month program, available in full‑time or part‑time roles (minimum 30 hours/week), is designed to help early career nurses and midwives transition into independent practice and enhance their clinical skills. This program is paired with an additional Consolidation Year to ensure you’re well‑prepared to succeed.
- One to three rotations within your graduate stream over the 12‑month program

What we’ll need from you
- Evidence of Australian working rights
- Completion of a nursing or midwifery course after 1st June 2025 or expected completion at least one month before starting.
- Availability for a minimum of 30 hours/week, on a rotating roster including AM, PM, night, weekends, and public holidays.

- Two recent student clinical placement reports (Mandatory)
- Proof of Australian working rights (e.g. Australian / New Zealand passport, Australian birth certificate, or international passport and relevant Australian working visa evidence).
