A global leader machinery and software solutions is experiencing strong growth and is seeking a motivated and technically capable Sales Engineer to join their Queensland team.

You'll be supported by a professional and collaborative national team while managing your own territory across South Queensland.
About the Role
Based in the Brisbane / Gold Coast region, this hybrid role offers flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to represent a premium global brand.
Occasional interstate and overseas travel (including technical centre events and Japan tours) will form part of the role.
You will be responsible for promoting a comprehensive range of manufacturing
machinery and software solutions to manufacturers across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts
* Interpret customer requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions
* Prepare detailed quotations and negotiate tender and contract terms
* Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations
* Coordinate sales projects, technical centre events and customer tours
* Work closely with internal technical experts and the broader sales team
* Prepare management reports and maintain accurate CRM data
* Achieve agreed sales targets and territory growth objectives
About You
* Solid technical background (mechanical, manufacturing or engineering preferred)
* Strong commercial acumen and sound business judgement
* Previous sheet metal industry experience highly regarded
* Proven ability to build strong client relationships
* Analytical with strong problem-solving capability
* Resilient, self-driven and results-focused
* Comfortable working autonomously within a team environment
* Current driver's licence
