An exciting opportunity has become available for a creative, self-driven professional to lead dynamic arts marketing and communications across Council's major venues.
As the Arts Communications Officer, you'll lead the development and delivery of dynamic marketing and communications campaigns that bring Council's performing arts programs to life.
Working closely with internal teams and external clients, you will shape audience engagement strategies, create compelling content, and drive event attendance across Council's major venues, most notably the Pilbeam Theatre.
This role gives you the opportunity to champion arts experiences in our region while managing diverse projects, building strong stakeholder relationships, and contributing to a vibrant cultural program.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria
Degree Qualifications in Marketing and Communication or Arts Administration and/or substantial work experience.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, work independently, exercise sound judgement, and deliver high-quality outcomes for both internal stakeholders and external commercial clients.Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and digital platforms, with the ability to produce marketing collateral, social media content and multimedia materials that support organisational goals and event success.
