About Golden Bakery
Golden Bakery is a family-owned bakery in Perth, specialising in award-winning beef pies and baked savouries since 1988. Known for fresh, never-frozen products, we deliver exceptional value to wholesale and retail customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic Production Manager to help shape the next phase of our growth.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our production team, streamline operations, and uphold our commitment to quality and innovation. If you are a proactive leader skilled in team management, regulatory compliance, and process improvement, join us in crafting the best savoury products in Western Australia. The start date for this role would be early February 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the production department, including scheduling and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with Australian food safety standards and workplace safety regulations.
Foster a culture of accountability and respect while managing a culturally diverse team.
Manage inventory and stock control to optimise production efficiency and minimise waste.
Oversee the operation and maintenance scheduling of equipment such as ovens, dough sheeters, and kettle pots to maintain product consistency.
Drive quality assurance practices to uphold product excellence.
Implement and monitor production schedules to meet wholesale and retail demands.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in production and storage areas.
Oversee delivery logistics, ensuring efficient product loading and proper implementation of delivery schedules to maintain timely and accurate distribution.
Collaborate with external consultants and the leadership team to implement and sustain process improvements for enhanced operational efficiency.

About You

Experience: 3 years in a production management role, preferably in food manufacturing or bakery production.
Leadership: Proven ability to navigate and resolve workplace cultural and structural challenges, fostering accountability and respect within diverse teams. An ability to handle language barriers.
Skills: Familiarity with HACCP Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Australian workplace health and safety standards.
Problem-Solving: Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Technical: Familiarity with bakery equipment and processes, including equipment maintenance scheduling.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

What We Offer
$80,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience.
