We're currently seeking a Payroll People Support Officer to join a leading organisation at the forefront of shaping the energy future in WA.
This role is your chance to:
* Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, including wages, overtime, reimbursements, and statutory deductions
* Ensure payroll activities comply with relevant legislation, Enterprise Agreements, and company policies
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and employee data
* Respond to payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies with a high level of accuracy and customer service
* Assist the Payroll Lead in reviewing, maintaining, and updating payroll policies and procedures to reflect legislative or system changes
* Assist and provide back-up support to the P&C Support Officer as needed, including employment agreement preparation and responding to employee and stakeholder queries.
What You'll Bring:
* Strong attention to detail across payroll data entry, reconciliations, and reporting
* Proven end-to-end payroll processing experience, including timesheets, leave, and entitlements
* Solid knowledge of the Fair Work Act, taxation, superannuation, and enterprise agreements
* Experience using payroll and HRIS systems (e.g. Ellipse, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
* Ability to draft and maintain compliant employment agreements
* High level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential employee information
* Professional communicator with strong problem-solving skills to resolve payroll and HR queries
