At JBS Dinmore, no two days are the same. We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter who enjoys hands‐on work, solving problems under pressure and being part of a team that keeps operations running around the clock.
You'll be working across a large‐scale processing facility with a variety of equipment, systems and machinery, giving you exposure to challenging and rewarding maintenance work every day.
The Opportunity
This role suits someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality workmanship and can think on their feet in a fast‐paced environment. As part of the Maintenance Team, you will:
* Carry out breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
* Inspect, service and maintain production equipment
* Troubleshoot mechanical faults and identify long‐term solutions
* Assist with shutdown work and continuous improvement projects
* Work closely with operations teams to minimise downtime
* Contribute to a strong safety and reliability culture onsite
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
* Experience working in industrial, manufacturing or production environments
* Strong troubleshooting and fault‐finding ability
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive approach to maintenance and safety
* Ability to work across different shifts and rosters
* Experience with hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes or pneumatics will be highly regarded
