As an Account Manager, you will be the trusted partner for a portfolio of clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth. You'll act as the primary point of contact, providing timely and effective communication, and collaborating with internal Sales and Technical teams to deliver solutions that exceed expectations. Your proactive approach will see you anticipate client needs and offer tailored solutions and value-added services.
You'll prepare and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), maintain accurate account records, and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement. You are particular about keeping records and have a strong attention to detail, particularly when updating the CRM and preparing high-quality tenders and proposals.
This role requires a strong understanding of pricing models, contract renewals, and vendor-driven changes, as well as a commitment to timely communication and financial accuracy.

In this position, you'll:
- Proven experience in an Account Executive, Account Manager, or Business Development role within IT, MSP, or technology services.
- Proven ability to build and sustain strong, long-term client relationships and effectively manage accounts.
- Be a skilled presenter, able to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong capability to identify client needs and uncover new opportunities, offering tailored solutions.
- Experience preparing accurate quotes, tenders and proposals.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions, licensing, and service improvements.
- Understanding of virtualisation/cloud-based solutions and cyber security best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to attend industry events and trade shows to enhance client engagement.
- Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technological trends.
- Experienced in preparing and delivering tenders, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client and company requirements.
- Highly proficient in using CRM platforms (such as ConnectWise, HubSpot, or similar) to manage sales pipelines, track opportunities, and provide accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and present persuasive sales proposals and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Solid commercial understanding, capable of aligning sales activity with organisational profitability, interpreting sales data, and identifying cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Well organised, with the ability to juggle multiple opportunities, proposals, and client relationships concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented approach, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across sales, operations, marketing, and procurement to achieve shared business objectives.
- Our clients are all over Western Australia and travel to regional centres is a requirement of the role.
- A current driver's license.
