Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team. As a Clinical Audiologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing hearing loss in patients using various techniques, including audiometric tests.
You will report assessment results and make referrals to medical practitioners as necessary. Additionally, you will provide personalized recommendations for those with hearing impairments, offer counseling and advice to clients and families, and develop and manage noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
Furthermore, you will provide treatment and management for hearing and communication disorders, working closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
* Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud
* Current QP number
* Solid audiological skills and knowledge
* Excellent customer care and service skills
* Ability to learn new software with training
* Proven ability to achieve KPIs
* Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Good team working skills
