QUARRY TRUCK & DOG DRIVER

We are seeking an experienced Truck and Dog Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
* Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centres.
* Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
* Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
* Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
* Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions (Tipper)
* Report defects, accidents or violations
Requirements and skills
* HC driver's licence (essential)
* Experience with a manual roadranger gear box (essential)
* White Card (essential)
* Proven work experience as a Truck and Dog Driver
* Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
* No recent driving violations
* Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)
* Willing to submit to background/drug checks, TruckSafe Fitness to Drive medical and provide employment references
