Front Desk Representative
As a front desk representative at Rydges Hotels & Resorts, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, providing warm and friendly service to guests, and anticipating their needs.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They should also have the ability to multitask, handle multiple requests simultaneously, and remain calm under pressure.
* Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
* Anticipate and attend to guests' needs and desires immediately.
* Ensure all public areas are consistently safe and that all equipment is operating efficiently.
* Perform various duties as detailed on the established hotel maintenance checklist.
* Undertake tasks in accordance with the Work Request System, Preventative Maintenance Program, and/or verbal requests from supervisors/ managers.
* Respond to and carry out all interdepartmental or guest requests concerning defects, repairs and/or general assistance.
* Log all defects and work or repairs carried out.
* Render assistance to other departments or their representatives.
* Maintain your self-appearance in accordance with the hotel's grooming standards.
* Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team.
* Comply with all of the hotel's operational policies and procedures.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipment.
* Complete all assigned opening and closing duties.
* Attend all scheduled meetings.
* Participate in all rostered theoretical and on-the-job training sessions.
