Telethon accounts officers oversee the financial transactions, records, and day-to-day accounting operations of a charitable organization. They are responsible for managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment tracking.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines without compromising quality. They should be proficient in accounting software, preferably MYOB, and comfortable working with financial databases and CRM systems including Salesforce.
Key responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, coordinating and processing post-event donor invoicing, supporting merchandise accounting, reconciling community fundraising income, maintaining the customer database within MYOB, and assisting with general financial administration tasks such as banking, procurement, and reconciliation.
Required qualifications include experience handling accounts receivable, invoicing, and general finance administration, as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively. Proficiency in accounting software and CRM systems is also essential.
