Ambrose Construct Group are one of Australia's largest insurance repair specialists, with offices in every state of Australia. We are currently looking to expand our internal trade team in Gold Coast and are seeking an experienced plasterer to join our team. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify the plastering requirements for the job from the scope of works. Measure, cut, and install plasterboards on walls and ceilings to create smooth and even surfaces. Arrangement of materials and tools to complete the job. Use personal tools of trade, including measuring tapes, utility knives, screw guns, and cutting tools, for accurate and efficient installation. Fit plasterboards around openings, corners, and obstacles, maintaining clean and precise edges. Fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other fittings Install insulation materials within wall and ceiling cavities as required. Repair and replace damaged or deteriorated plasterboards as needed. Quoting - Estimate material quantities accurately and provide cost estimates for projects. Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Keep detailed records of work performed, hours worked, and materials used. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during plasterboard installation. Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and debris generated during installation. Contribute to and comply with all statutory legislation including the relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures applicable to Ambrose Construct Group SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Certificate 3 in Wall and Ceiling Lining Minimum of 4 years’ experience Driver’s licence White Card Police Clearance obtained within the last 3 years.
