At Hunter Trade College, we're not just a College — we're a hub for future tradespeople, innovators, and leaders. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we deliver hands-on VET programs that give secondary students a head start in their trade careers.
We're now on the lookout for a passionate and detail-driven RTO Compliance Project Officer to help us take our compliance systems to the next level — work with our CEO and RTO Manager to prepare for our ASQA re-registration audit in 2026.
This is your chance to use your previous RTO experience and knowledge of RTO Standards to make a real impact: ensuring our programs remain compliant, our systems robust, and our students set up for success.
What You'll Do
* Contribute to our RTO's success — ensuring we meet the Standards for RTOs 2025.
* Keep our systems and records sharp, audit-ready, and future-focused.
* Support and guide our VET and leadership teams to embed best practice.
* Support our 2026 ASQA re-registration success by taking ownership of the compliance remediation register and developing the audit evidence bank.
About You
* You live and breathe attention to detail — no file, form, or framework escapes you.
* You know your way around the VET Quality Framework and ASQA requirements.
* You've had experience in RTO compliance (bonus points if it's in a school VET setting).
* You're a collaborator and communicator, with strong emotional intelligence.
* You're organised, proactive, and thrive on seeing systems run like clockwork.
* You hold a minimum Certificate IV in Training & Assessment qualification.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
* Make a difference in the lives of young people by maintaining VET pathways.
* Be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team that values innovation and quality.
* Take ownership of a pivotal compliance milestone — our 2026 ASQA audit remediation.
