What You'll Be Doing:
* Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and team leadership
* Designing seasonal menus using local and regional ingredients
* Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
* Managing food costs, stock levels, and supplier relationships
* Training, mentoring, and scheduling a small, passionate kitchen team
* Ensuring food safety and kitchen cleanliness standards are always met
* Collaborating with venue managers on specials, functions, and new ideas
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar fast-paced pub or bistro environment
* A passion for modern Australian pub food with a creative, seasonal twist
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Hands-on, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused
* Understanding of kitchen financials and rostering
* Formal culinary qualifications preferred but not essential
