Leadership Role - Learning for Life Program
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team and provide strategic leadership to our Learning for Life program.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a geographically dispersed team in Darwin/Palmerston, providing proactive oversight of their implementation activities aligned to state-developed plans that complement national plans. This position will role model organisational values, embed a coaching framework to develop team capability, and champion and embed organisational change.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and leading a high-performing team that delivers effective program delivery and engagement with families and students to support stronger student outcomes;
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with partner schools and relevant community agencies;
* Providing clarity of expectations and inspiring a sense of purpose and direction within the team;
* Contributing as a valued local leader in Learning for Life and maintaining strong internal relationships within the organisation;
* Focusing on personal and professional growth, including on-the-job skill development and regular coaching with your leader;
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading a team with a coaching approach, establishing and maintaining partnerships with diverse communities and stakeholders, and implementing and leading through change. They will also have a strong understanding of the education sector and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
