Warehouse Engineer
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Warehouse Engineer to join our logistics team. This role will involve identifying process improvements across warehouse operations and driving both profit improvements and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with sites to improve their processes in line with Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes.
* Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities and through training, coaching and data analysis.
* Develop and maintain BPE tools such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports.
* Guide and drive our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualified in industrial engineering or related field.
* Solid experience gained in a related role in any industry (preference for logistics / supply chain, manufacturing, resources or related).
* Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean etc.
* Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
* Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)
* Bonus: AutoCAD or similar.
