HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading corporate practice to appoint an Associate or Senior Associate (2–5 PAE) to a growing and highly regarded M&A and advisory team.
If you're seeking exposure to substantial transactions, high quality private and public M&A and direct access to a respected senior corporate practitioner, this opportunity offers a strong platform for technical development and career progression. The team handles significant private mid market deals, often in the $100M–$500M range, and maintains a strong precedent base to support efficient and high calibre work.
Responsibilities
* Acting on private and public M&A transactions
* Working across equity and debt capital markets matters
* Advising on corporate governance, restructures and strategic commercial issues
* Preparing, reviewing and negotiating corporate and commercial contracts
* Managing and contributing to legal due diligence processes
* Supporting joint ventures, corporate structuring and commercial advisory work
* Providing clear, pragmatic and commercially aligned legal advice
* Collaborating closely with senior practitioners on high value matters

The ideal candidate will have:
* 2–5 years PAE in corporate and M&A, ideally from a mid or top tier environment
* Strong experience running elements of M&A transactions
* Solid background in corporate advisory and due diligence
* Strong contract drafting and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and relationship building capability
* High attention to detail and strong academic ability
* A proactive mindset and desire for ongoing development
