We are seeking a dynamicGeneral Managerto lead the team at River 1467 in Mildura. This role is critical in driving revenue, compelling local content, engaging promotions, and success for our clients in the Sunraysia community.
About The Role
* Manage the market P&L to ensure revenue targets are achieved and the market is operating profitably.
* Provide strategic and day to day leadership for Mildura team
* Drive a high-performance culture and create a great place to work
* Work with programming to ensure local content is maximised and programming is well executed.
* Pro-actively maintain a high level of engagement and enduring partnerships with local organisations and events.
* Be an active and integrated member of the business community via Business Chambers and other community focused boards & committees, including engagement with key business and government leaders and politicians.
About You
* Proven experience managing a small-medium sized business and / or business unit, ideally within a radio and / or media business.
* Demonstrated experience developing business plans & driving business growth.
* Broad understanding of the Australian media landscape including radio, audio, digital, and other competing media in local markets.
* Working understanding of the Commercial Radio Code of Practice.
* Strong financial acumen, including working knowledge of Profit & Loss statements and other key financial business concepts.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
