About your new role

In this position within VGA, you will be responsible for actively promoting the sale of Volkswagen Passenger and Commercial, Audi, CUPRA, and Skoda vehicles to the corporate fleet segment, while acquiring new and maintaining ongoing business with fleet clients.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Prospecting and identifying potential corporate clients by utilizing a network of contacts, initiating contact, and building relationships with potential clients.
* Developing and implementing a program for gaining incremental corporate fleet sales opportunities, including identification and direct prospecting.
* Preparing and presenting responses to client tenders/RFP processes.
* Maintaining and evolving relationships with existing fleet clients and fleet management organizations through strategic account management and client visits.
* Presenting product and general training to key clients and fleet management organizations to maximize Volkswagen Group Australia's share of wallet.
* Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date customer database and overseeing administration of fleet account vehicle ordering, invoicing, and delivery.
* Ensuring smooth information flow regarding ordering, invoicing, and delivery with relevant departments, suppliers, dealers, and customers.
* Contributing to the development of fleet business and partnering with dealerships to achieve fleet objectives.
* Partnering with dealers to identify and approach corporate fleet prospects, focusing on the Australian market, and participating in fleet functions and events.
* Managing fleet aftersales relationships by ensuring technical support through relevant VGA departments.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* Experience and understanding of the fleet industry.
* Knowledge of dealer operations.
* Understanding of vehicle mechanics and technical applications.
* Strong product knowledge.
* Proven experience in business development and relationship management.
* A logical and practical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional customer service, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
* Action-oriented, results-focused, with the ability to work independently.
* High attention to detail and effective time management skills.
