This organisation provides culturally safe, holistic care through integrated primary health, allied health, and social emotional wellbeing services.
Position Description
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide culturally appropriate, evidence‐based assessment and intervention services to clients across the lifespan. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care that supports independence, participation, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting clinical assessments and developing goal‐oriented care plans
* Delivering therapeutic interventions in clinic and outreach settings
* Supporting clients with self‐care, mobility, functional capacity, and environmental adaptations
* Collaborating with clients, families, and other health professionals to achieve positive outcomes
* Promoting health education and community engagement initiatives
Position Requirements
Essential Criteria:
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to outreach sites
Desirable:
* Experience working in rural or remote health settings
* Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and cultural perspectives
* Experience with NDIS or community health models
