Workfast are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a busy manufacturing facility producing high-volume plastic packaging products including carrier, produce, garbage and freezer bags.
* Yatala, QLD
* $50/hr + Penalties + Overtime
* Day Shift | 5:00am – 1:30pm
This is a hands-on role working across automated production lines to keep machinery running efficiently and minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, troubleshoot and repair production line machinery
* Fault finding on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Preventative and breakdown maintenance
* Machine set-up, changeovers and adjustments
* Reduce downtime and improve plant efficiency
* Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations
* Follow strict safety and maintenance procedures
About You
* Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter or Mechanical Fitter
* Experience in a manufacturing or production line environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Mechanically minded with hands-on attitude
* Forklift licence (advantageous)
* Solid understanding of OH&S requirements
* Reliable with a proactive, can-do approach
