In this role, you'll:
Lead the strategy and governance of asset information across the state road network, ensuring data is trusted, accessible and drives better decisions
Shape and embed best-practice data frameworks, standards and processes in partnership with key stakeholders
Take ownership of data integrity, establishing clear governance, accountability and pathways to resolve issues
Drive improvements across systems and data, enhancing integration, interoperability and overall data quality
Use insights, performance metrics and assurance activities to prioritise and deliver continuous improvement
Inspire a high-performing, state-wide team while influencing leaders to strengthen a culture of data stewardship and innovation
This role can be based at one of our major workplaces across NSW (Grafton, Newcastle, Parkes, Wollongong, Wagga, or Milsons Point).

About you
You bring deep expertise in asset information governance, including frameworks, metadata standards and data quality practices across complex environments
You understand the road asset lifecycle and how high-quality data underpins planning, maintenance and long-term network performance
You're a strategic thinker with a proven ability to lead large-scale data governance initiatives, driving integrity, interoperability and continuous improvement
You're an influential communicator, confident engaging with executive and external stakeholders to negotiate outcomes and solve complex problems
You combine strong technical foundations (in asset management, engineering, ICT or data disciplines) with the ability to lead and build capability in others
Extensive experience in complex EAM in a changing environment, experience in SAP would be an advantage.
You're adaptable and delivery-focused, comfortable working across a geographically dispersed environment with occasional travel requirements\"
Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, ICT systems management, systems design, data modelling, architecture and integration, Engineering qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.
Holds a valid Australian driver licence, willing to travel and work outside standard hours, and able to meet required security and employment screening checks.
